Rowan has over 12 years experience in many facets of the computer industry predominately in data communications. This experience includes, but is not restricted to, Electronic Funds Transfer including at Point of Sale necessitating an understanding of secure data transmission and various transmission protocols including asyncronhous, synchronous, x.25 and packet. Rowan has also worked in most environments including Main Frames, parallel processing, LAN as well as the IBM, NEC and Apple Macintosh PC environments. Rowan has spent the last 3 years specialising in the Apple Macintosh environment in particular concentrating his efforts in online systems and networking areas.
