oftware used with digital video is
really the great enabler of the technology. It has now taken the existing
hardware and given it applications which are not always possible on even
the largest, dedicated broadcast, post production machines.
What I hope to do here is to outline and give a short critique of all the
software used in Macitosh digital video production and links to the relevant
commercial pages where available.
