TalkCity is bringing together our current Community Center conferences, plus some of eWorld's best publishers. We're getting help from Concentric Network (a U.S. nation-wide internet service provider), and from Quarterdeck (the Global Chat folks)... plus a LOT of other people and groups you'll be hearing more about! These new services are being created - and created quickly - out of the grassroots energy of this community! We've promised you we wouldn't let the eCommunity die, but we can't do it alone. WE NEED YOUR HELP. TalkCity is an exciting opportunity - it's a place where all of us can help define the direction and substance of these new services, and can pioneer on the 'Net the kinds of things we've started in eWorld. And your only cost for being part of TalkCity will be the cost of your Internet account - TalkCity itself will be free! We're funding this operation through ad revenues, that means WE NEED BODIES in the conferences, using the message boards and presumably reading the ads. If you want to preserve the spirit of eWorld we need your support. Come see us and convince our sponsors that there's enough traffic to warrant taking out their ads so that we can keep this a FREE service. All of this will not work without the COMMUNITY's participation, so we're counting on YOU. Hopefully that won't be too hard on you... we'll be running many of the same conferences and games you've enjoyed on eWorld, and we'll even have some of the same publishers. And MOST important, the CCC staff you know and LOVE will be there. So come see us and bring your friends.
