In April 1996 a new Internet service, Talk City, opened it's doors to the world. Many of Axon's consultants were involved in establishing this service, and maintaining it.

Talk City operates an IRC server where there are 24 hour activites and events. Axon is involved in setting up the servers, configuring them, and continues to be involved in maintaining the entire Talk City Chat network. Axon has added life and colour to the Talk City Chat server, with the implementation of graphical banners, as well as automating the banner programming, and managing the various live channels online.

Talk City runs a complex network of Web servers, with an amazing amount of information about online activities and more. Axon has been involved in the Web Page design, server set up, artwork creation and much much more. On our own Web Servers we are running some talkcity information, with links to the main Talk City Web Server at www.talkcity.com.Various Consultants at Axon are under Contract to provide services to Talk City. These Services include the Chatmaster function, managing the Chat Server for Talk City, administration of the Talk City Mailing Lists, and the provision of interactive features on the Talk City Web Sites.
Axon continues to be heavily involved in the establishment and maintenance of Talk City services, servers and artwork. As more Talk City services come online over coming months you can be sure Axon has had a hand in there somewhere.
