My dear friends and companions,

I have tried to think of the truest way for me to approach this. When it comes right down to it, eWorld has done something that may come as a shock to many of you...it has humbled me. For many years I was in a slow shutdown...preserving in my loneliness the idea that I was almost unique in my education, in my sense of humor, and a few other things...and I must now confess to you that I have never been happier to be proven wrong, wrong, wrong. This message is for everyone I have ever spoken with...you have re-humanized me, and have given me much more than I could ever have imagined.

True, in this space I have put myself to the emotional whipsaw...I have been intellectually bested...I have been reminded time and time again that knowledge makes not the man. I needed these reminders.

As the community undertakes its eXodus, I will be saying my au revoirs with the rest of you...and I will look to the future. And in my ears, I will hear a grand, majestic, chord of affirmation and love.
